Apostolis Karabairis Apostolis’ research focuses on elections, politics and the factors behind them such as identities, inter-ethnic relations, mainly in post-conflict societies.

He has worked for the Kokkalis Foundation and interned with the Association of Election Officials in Bosnia and Herzegovina. His background includes studying at the University of Athens’ MA programme in SE European Studies. Before joining the AWG as a junior researcher, he contributed articles to EKEM’s website and balkanalysis.com.

Apostolis speaks Greek, English, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and Russian.
